Travelling of Muhammad pbuh from Makkah to Yathrib
Muhammad pbuh was living with his compassionate mother Syeda Aminah and his merciful grandfather Abd ul Muttalib . He was growing well in the suoervision of both persons . When he was six years old , Syeda Aminah decided to take her son to visit his uncles in Ythrib . Their maid Umm e Aiman was also with them in this journey . They stayed there about a month .
The Prophet pbuh often recalled his memories of these days . When he pbuh saw a big house of Banu Adi bin Najjar , he said , ” I played here with a maid of Ansaar , “Nafeesa ” . I was along with my cousins , we use to fly birds and swim in the pond of Babu ‘Adi . ” He pbuh saw an other house and said , ” my mother stayed in this house. ”
Abu No’aim has narrated in his book that the Prophet pbuh said , ” one Jew saw me , he saw me with differnet angles , then he asked me , ” what’s your name , child ! ” . I said , ” Ahmad .” He looked at my back and cried loudly , ” he is the Prophet of this nation . ” then he came to my uncles and all about me .
Syeda Umme Aiman also narrated , one day two Jews came to our house and asked to see ” Ahmad ” , I took the Prophet pbuh to them . They looked for a while at him and showed a great affection to him and then one said to the other , ” he is the Prophet of this nation . This is his migrated city. Soon it will be killing in the city . The people will be prisoned . A great incident will took place . ”
When all these things reported to Syeda Aminah she got afraid and decided to leave Yathrib . When they were their way back to Makkah , she became ill and died . She was burried in the village of al-Abwa ( not far from Yathrib ) .
Muhammad returned to Makkah sadly with his mother’s maid . He was now six years old and had lost both his father and mother .
