Prayer To Cure Toothache

Introduction of prayer:

The Qur’an states in this verse that Allah is the King and Owner of the heavens and earth and to Him belongs whatsoever exists in the night and the day. It means that all creatures in the heavens and earth are Allah’s servants and creatures, and they are all under His authority, power and will; there is no one else worthy of worship except Him. He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

Exposition and Virtues of prayer:

(To Him belongs whatever exists in the day and night):

Sukoon means rest, Motionless, or ease. It means: And to Him belongs what finds rest in the night and the day. The Qur’an describes Allah Kareem as the Master of everything present in the day and the night. Every object moves and rests according to the will of His Creator. He controls the universe as He wishes. All creatures are under His control and authority. Every restless soul may turn to His Lord to get peace, ease and comfort.

(The All-Hearing, The Ever-Listening):

Allah is As-Sami (in Arabic: ٱلْسَّمِيعُ) the perpetual hearer. He pays attention to every supplication, listening to all who reach out to Him. Whether we speak loudly or in secrecy. Allah Kareem has mentioned His attribute of hearing many times in the Qur’an.

Indeed, Allah has heard the argument of the woman who pleaded with you ˹O Prophet˺ concerning her husband, and appealed to Allah. Allah has heard your exchange. Surely Allah is All-Hearing, All-Seeing.

Allah Kareem stated the prayer of Sayyidna Ibrahim and Sayyidna Isma’il (as) in Surah Al-Baqarah, 127;

And ˹remember˺ when Abraham raised the foundation of the House with Ishmael, ˹both praying,˺ “Our Lord! Accept ˹this˺ from us. You are indeed the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

(The All-knowing):

Al-‘Aleem is one of Beautiful Names of Allah Kareem. It means one whose knowledge is comprehensive and extends to all that is seen and unseen, present and future, apparent and hidden near and far. He is the Knower of all details and nothing goes unnoticed and unrecorded by His authority and control. The Qur’an describes this attribute in many verses;

With Him are the keys of the unseen—no one knows them except Him.1 And He knows what is in the land and sea. Not even a leaf falls without His knowledge, nor a grain in the darkness of the earth or anything—green or dry—but is ˹written˺ in a perfect Record. (Surah Al-An’am: 59)

When a believer knows Allah Kareem as The All-Knowing he feels comfort and ease as the Lord knows everything about the difficulties and problems and will respond to him. If a believer loses something in life he does not get depressed because he knows that Allah knows better. He is All-knowing and All-Wise, He has the best plan for us even if we do not know its wisdom.
