A Powerful Du’a For All Lawful Wishes

Introduction of prayer:

This verse is one of the greatest verses of Qur’an. It refers to the symbol or sign of Allah’s supreme creative power. He Almighty created the heavens and earth. He is able to give life to dead and recreate them. He is able to do all things. When He the Exalted wants to create something He commands to ‘be’ and ‘it is’.

Exposition and virtues of prayer:

إِنَّمَآ أَمْرُهُۥٓ إِذَآ أَرَادَ شَيْـًٔا أَن يَقُولَ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ (Verily, when He intends a thing, His Command is, “be”, and it is!):

“Be, and it is” (كُن فَيَكُونُ kun fa-yakūnu) is a phrase referring to creation by Allah. أَمْرُ Means: order and command and كُن means: The act of manifesting, being and existing. It is often used in the Qur’an and other religious texts as a command from God to bring something into existence or to make it happen.

This verse is a manifest of the great power of Allah Kareem being Supreme Creator and Planner. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it : “Be! ـ and it is. Thus, demonstrating His perfectly complete ability and tremendous authority; if He decides a matter, He merely orders it to, `Be’ and it comes into existence.
