Prayer To Solve All Problems

Introduction of prayer:

Allah Kareem is the Creator, the Designer and the Sustainer of the whole universe and all creations. He Almighty designed the universe in such a unique manner that it fulfils all the needs and necessities of human beings. The creation of things out of nothing and their resurrection, the provision of all kinds for man on a large scale—all these result solely that there is no god worthy for worship and adoration other than Allah Almighty. He responds to every helpless, oppressed and restless when he calls upon Him.

Explanation & virtues of prayer:

1- أَمَّن يُجِيبُ ٱلْمُضْطَرَّ إِذَا دَعَاهُ وَيَكْشِفُ ٱلسُّوٓءَ (Or, Who listens to the (soul) distressed when it calls on Him, and Who relieves its suffering);

Word الْمُضْطَرَّ‌ (Mudtar) is derived from اِضطِرَار (Idtirar), which means to be helpless and restless under some necessity. مُضْطَرَّ‌Mudtar is that person who has lost all hopes from everyone and has turned to Allah as the sole redresser of his woes. (M’arif-ul-Quran)

In the previous verses Allah Kareem mentions His favours arguing with disbelievers. Allah says; Is not He Who created the heavens and sends down for you water from the sky, It is not in your ability to cause the growth of their trees. And if you were to ask them: “Who sends down water from the sky, and gives life therewith to the earth after its death” they will surely reply: “Allah.”(29: 63)

Allah Kareem commanded His Prophet (pbuh) to ask the disbelievers, Is not He Who responds to the distressed one, when he calls on Him,Who is the only One to Whom the person in desperate need turns, and the only One Who can relieve those who are stricken by harm.

The Prophet (pbuh) advised for distressed one to recite the prayer;

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: The supplications to be used by one who is distressed are: “O Allah! Thy mercy is what I hope for. Do not abandon me to myself for an instant, but put all my affairs in good order for me. There is no god but Thou.” (Ibn Majah: 5090)

Allah Kareem has taken upon Himself to accept the supplication of a Mudtar (distressed, Helpless). He has made declaration to this effect in this verse. The main reason for it is that by divorcing all materialistic supports and connections, beseeching from Allah, while regarding Him as the sole Helper, in the sincerity at its best.

An authentic Hadith of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) says that three supplications are surely accepted;

Abu Harairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah said:

“Three supplications are accepted , there is no doubt in them (about them being accepted): The supplication of the oppressed, the supplication of the traveler, and the supplication of his father against his son.”(Tirmidhi: 1905)
