Introduction of the prayer:
This prayer is from Sahih Al-Bukhari: 3371. This prayer is to seek refuge with Allah Kareem from every devil, from poisonous pests and from every evil, envious and harmful eye. These are the blessed words by which Sayyidna Ibrahim (pbuh) used to seek refuge with Allah. It is reported from the Prophet (pbuh):
Narrated Ibn `Abbas:
The Prophet (ﷺ) used to seek Refuge with Allah for Al-Hasan and Al-Husain and say: “Your forefather (i.e. Abraham) used to seek Refuge with Allah for Ishmael and Isaac by reciting the following: ‘O Allah! I seek Refuge with Your Perfect Words from every devil and from poisonous pests and from every evil, harmful, envious eye.’ “(Sahih Al-Bukhari: 3371)

This is the miracle of the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) that the Muslims have solutions of each and every trouble of life. The above mentioned prayer relates with a common trouble of evil eye, specially for children.
The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) used to recite this prayer to seek refuge with Allah Almighty from devil and evil eyes.
This prayer can recite every believer of any age but the Prophet (pbuh) used to recite it upon his grandsons Sayyidna Hassan and Sayyidna Hussain (RA). So, it is the blessed Sunnah of the Prophet of Allah to recite it upon children.
Its recitation will keep safe the children from devil, evil and harmful eye. It will Also a protection from poisonous pests and insects, Insha’Allah.
