Prayer To Remove Anger From Anyone’s Heart

Introduction of prayer:

In the previous verses Allah Kareem reminds the time of the Battle of Badar when the idolators marched to protect their caravan. When they knew that their caravan escaped safely, they still went ahead with their intent to fight Muslims out of arrogance. Allah Kareem encourages the believers to fight against the disbelievers of Makkah who plotted to kill and expel the Holy Prophet (pbuh) from Makkah. Allah Kareem promises that He will reward victory to the believers and thus they will be punished. In this way, Allah Kareem healed the hearts of the believers.

Importance & virtues of prayer:

Anger is a powerful emotion and if it is not managed it will harm our relationships badly. it may have destructive results for you and those closest to you. Uncontrolled anger can lead to arguments, physical fights, physical abuse, assault and self-harm. It may cause stress, anxiety and depression. It can also affect our physical health. To keep our lives smooth and peaceful we should try to keep our relations with our dear ones healthy and pleasant. We can try for it morally and by praying to Allah Kareem too. Good relation strengthens our family as well as our society.

Islam, as a heavenly faith, gives much importance to social relations, and it has issued perfect and comprehensive injunctions to strengthen the bonds of the brotherhood and solidarity of individuals with each other. Allah Kareem has commanded to make peace between two Muslims if they are angry with each other.

The believers are but one brotherhood, so make peace between your brothers. (49: 10)

The Holy Prophet (pbuh) has described the importance of tying kinship by stating a Divine Hadith;

‘Abdur-Rahman bin ‘Awf’ said: ‘I heard the Messenger of Allah saying : “Allah, Most Blessed and Most High, said: ‘I am Allah, and I am Ar-Rahman. I created the Rahim(womb), and named it after My Name. So whoever keeps good relations with it, I keep good relation with him, and whoever severs it, I am finished with him.'( Jami’ At-Tirmidhi: 1907)

The Holy Prophet Muhammad warned that who severs ties will not enter paradise.

the Messenger of Allah said: “The one who severs ties will not enter Paradise.” (Tirmidhi: 1909)

The Holy Prophet (pbuh) urged the believers to remain attached and disliked remaining angry for more than three days;

Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari narrated that the Messenger of Allah said:

: It is not lawful for the Muslim to shun his brother for more than three (days); they come fare to fare and this one turns away, and that one turns away. The best of them is the one who initiates the Salam.”(Tirmidhi: 1932)
