Introduction of prayer:
This prayer is from Surah Al-An’am, verse: 62. In this verse Allah Kareem consoling His Prophet (pbuh) that he should not be worried about the bad intentions of his enemies. And if they intend to deceive you, then, Allah is all-sufficient for you. He is the One who supported you with His help and with the believers.
Explanation & virtues of prayer:
وَإِن يُرِيدُوٓا۟ أَن يَخْدَعُوكَ فَإِنَّ حَسْبَكَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ(But if their intention is only to deceive you, then Allah is certainly sufficient for you):
Allah Kareem is addressing His Last Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) that if his enemies intend to deceive him, Allah Only is sufficient against them. Allah Kareem commands to perform his acts of prophethood and He Almighty will protect Him from the people;
وَٱللَّهُ يَعْصِمُكَ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ ۗ
Allah will ˹certainly˺ protect you from the people. (Al-Ma’idah: 67)
If the people are planning something harmful to you, be honest in your deeds. Must take proper practical and legal steps against them, but always put you trust in Allah Kareem. He Almighty is the Protector against all wrongdoers and bad planners. He almighty consoled His Prophet (pbuh) to be calm against his enemies and pay his complete attention towards his Mission. Only the Lord is Sufficient in every condition and circumstances. He never let His servants to be cheated by any enemy.
وَمَكَرُوا۟ وَمَكَرَ ٱللَّهُ ۖ وَٱللَّهُ خَيْرُ ٱلْمَـٰكِرِينَ
And (the unbelievers) plotted and planned, and Allah too planned, and the best of planners is Allah. (3: 54)
Any believer who calls upon Allah for help and he is oppressed or deceived , Allah Kareem never rejects his Du’a. He Almighty is All-Sufficient against the wrongdoers and evil planner to harm him. One who is facing fraud or deception in his job, business or any other matter of life, he should recite this prayer abundantly. He will remain safe from the evil doers and bad wishers.
