Introduction of the prayer:
This prayer is from Qur’an, Surah Al-‘Ala, verse: 6. This verse refers to the early times of revelation when the Angel Jibrail (as) began to recite, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) made haste to repeat, lest any word or sentence should be lost. He (PBUH) was consoled by Allah Kareem to remain relax and listen to the Angel, when Angel had delivered the whole message then he should repeat it. He was clearly assured that he will never forget any thing, except that Allah wills.
Virtues and benefits of the prayer:
This verse tells about the great affection of Allah Kareem on Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He (PBUH) was bestowed by great obligation of the guidance of the whole humanity, so Allah Kareem helped him by consoling and assuring that he will never forget anything from the revelation. So, any Believer, facing problem in learning and memorising he should recite this verse for increasing memory.
How to recite the prayer?
1- Put your hand on your forehead.
2- Recite Salawat on Sayyidna Muhammad(PBuH) three times.
3- Recite this verse for 11 times.
4- Recite Salawat three times.
5- Pray to Allah Kareem for increment in knowledge and memory.
